– It lasts a few minutes, and it requires only one session.

– After the session, the patient can immediately return to her/his usual activities.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE AFTER THE INJECTIONS?
After the treatment, you can continue with your normal life. However, you should not:
- Apply makeup. This measure will reduce the risk of infection at the injection sites.
- Massage the treated area in the next 24 hours.
- Go to saunas or swimming pools.
- Consume alcohol.
- Lie down in the hours following the treatment.
- Perform any physical activity, especially with movements that involve moving the head downwards (such as yoga).
- Wash your hair with your head down in the hours following the treatment.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF BOTOX FOR FACIAL WRINKLES?
Anti-wrinkle injections should not cause any side effects, as long as they are administered by a qualified professional. Your doctor must apply the right dosage. Also, he must choose the points of injection carefully!
Botox injections may temporarily cause short-term pain, swelling, bruising, or hyperesthesia (abnormal increase in tactile sensitivity). In some cases, patients may have mild headaches.

HOW LONG DO ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS LAST?
The effect of the Botox injections begins to appear after three or four days. Its effect is complete between the next seven and ten days. At that time, the patient will notice the final results.
The effects are not permanent and tend to lessen after three or four months. They normally disappear after five or six months. After that time, the treatment can be repeated and have a little touch-up, depending on your medical evaluation.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BOTULINUM TOXIN AND HYALURONIC ACID?
Botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid are different substances. Although, both have potent rejuvenating effects.
Indeed, there are some key differences between these FDA approved injectable treatments. Botox paralyzes the muscles and prevents wrinkles produced by their movements. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid can be used as a dermal filler.
